UNF Transfer Requirements
Computer and Information Sciences Programs

What do you need to transfer to one of the four UNF's Computer and Information Sciences programs from FCCJ? You will need to have graduated with an Associate in Arts (AA) degree, and your 60 credit hours at FCCJ must include these prerequisites for upper-division study:

  • To UNF Computer Science Program:

    • MAC 2311 (Calculus I)

    • MAC 2312 (Calculus II)

    • PHY 2048 (Calculus Physics I)

    • PHY 2048 L (Calc Physics I Lab)

    • PHY 2049 (Calculus Physics II)

    • PHY 2049 L (Calc Physics II Lab)

    • Two additional science courses for science majors

    • COP 2220 (Computer Science I / C Programming)

  • To UNF Information Science Program:

    • CGS 1100 (Microcomputer Appl Software)

    • COP 2838 (Advanced VB.NET Programming)

    • COP 2551 (Intro OOP with Java)

    • MAC 2233 (Calculus for Business) or
      MAC 2311 (Calculus I)

    • Other prerequisites for minor

  • To UNF Information Systems Program:

    • ACG 2021 (Principles of Financial Accounting)

    • ACG 2071 (Principles of Managerial Accounting)

    • ECO 2013 (Macroeconomics)

    • ECO 2023 (Microeconomics)

    • STA 2023 (Elementary Statistics)

    • MAC 2233 (Calculus for Business)

    • CGS 1100 (Microcomputer Appl Software)

    • COP 2551 (Intro OOP with Java)

    • COP 2838 (Advanced VB.NET Programming)

  • To UNF Information Technology Program:

    • MAC 2233 (Calculus for Business)

    • STA 2023 (Elementary Statistics)
