Introduction to C Programming (COP 2220)

• Text and Lecture Notes – these are the notes I use during class, and which can be useful for reference as you study the text.
• Obtaining and Installing Dev-C++. Follow the directions obtain and install the software on your home computer. Use this tutorial to learn how to enter, compile, and run a C program using Dev-C++.
• Apply for FCCJ student email account if you don't already have one.
• Sample C Programs. The best way to learn a new programming language is to study working programs, modify them and observe the results. Here are some informative sample programs with short descriptions.
• C Reference Card. You will find the information here handy when writing a program, and you can use it during exams. A more complete online reference is available here. The list of C/C++ keywords, the C operator precedence table, and the ASCII Character Code Table are also useful. The best online reference for C/C++ is available at www.cppreference.com.
